April Gonzales

When I first embarked on this journey through getting my Master, I thought of school in on particular view. Your professor provides a lecture, gives you instructions, you follow instructions. And you get a grade.  This was not the case entering this course. I have been given the opportunity to choose how I showcase my learning and given a voice in what and how I learn.  I truly feel like I own my thoughts and opinions in my assignments.  In my struggle to move away from a structural environment, I learned that learning with the ability to have choice, ownership, and voice provides an authentic learning. My ePortfolio is a place where I can share my learning and develop a true understanding of digital learning.
